Changing Host Passwords and Keywords
Travelport+ (1G) and Apollo (1V) passwords are valid for 90 days. If your password expires, Smartpoint automatically prompts you to create a new password.
You can also voluntarily change your password or keyword at any time if you are signed on to the Travelport+ or Apollo system. You can change passwords and keywords in Smartpoint in several ways using:
- The Sign On dialog box to change passwords and keywords when you sign on.
- The Password dialog box to change passwords if you are already signed on.
- Terminal formats to change passwords and keywords.
Tip! If you forgot your password, or are locked out of Travelport+ (1G) or Apollo (1V), you can request a password reset.
Changing Passwords and Keywords Using the Sign On Dialog Box
You can change passwords and keywords using the Sign On dialog box as you sign on to Smartpoint.
To change your password or keyword:

Launch Smartpoint to display the Sign On dialog box.
Tip! This example shows an example for an Apollo (1V) connection. However, the same procedures apply to Travelport+ (1G) connections. If you have connections to both Apollo and Travelport+ (1G) , both connections are displayed. You can change passwords and keywords to both systems at the same time.

In Sign-On, enter your Client ID (SSL Thumbprint).

In Password, enter your current password.

Select the Change Password check box.

In New Password, enter your new password.

In Repeat Password, enter the new password again.

Optional. In Keyword, enter a new keyword. If you do not enter a new keyword, your previous keyword is maintained.

Optional. In Keyword, enter a new keyword. If you do not enter a new keyword, your previous keyword is maintained.

Click OK to display a confirmation message in your Agent Alerts.
Changing Passwords Using the Password Dialog Box
You can change passwords using the Password dialog box as you sign on to Smartpoint.
To change your password:

Open the Change Sign-On Password dialog box.

Classic Windows. From the TOOLS menu, select Change Password.

Flex Windows. Click the Tools icon to select Change Password.

The Change Sign-On Password dialog box is displayed for your connection. In the example, the name of the connection is Apollo. However, the same procedures apply to Travelport+ (1G) connections.
Tip! If you have connections to both Apollo (1V) and Travelport+ (1G), both connections are displayed.
ExampleIf you have connections to both Apollo and Travelport+, you can either:
- Select the Both radio button to change to the same password for both GDSs at the same time.
- Change the password for only one GDS.

In New Password, enter your new password.

In Repeat Password, enter the new password again.

Click OK to display a warning message. When you change passwords, a new sign on occurs immediately, so be sure to save any active bookings.

Click Yes to a confirmation message in your Agent Alerts.
Changing Passwords and Keywords Using a Terminal Format
To change your password:

Sign on to Travelport+ (1G)or Apollo (1V).

Enter STD/xxxxxx, where xxxxxx is your sign-on code.
Your profile is displayed.

Tab to the PASSWORD field or the KEYWORD field. If desired, you can change both your password and your keyword at the same time.

Enter your new password or keyword.
Important! Make sure that your keyboard is not in insert mode. If the cursor is red , press the INSERT key to change the cursor to yellow .

Tab to the end of the profile screen after the last field.

Press ENTER to display the confirmation message, which is either:

For 1G: AGENT PROFILE CHANGED - GALILEO

For 1V: AGENT PROFILE CHANGED - APOLLO
